THE ODISHA SOCIETY OF THE AMERICAS - CALIFORNIA CHAPTER
Odisha Dibas will showcase and promote various performing arts genres, such as music, dance, drama, science fairs, culinary demonstrations, and ethnic fashion shows. Last year, the event attracted 1600 unique Odias, including close to 450 families. This year, the goal is to attract an audience of 2000 attendees from the Odia community and the broader Indian community in the SF Bay Area.
The theme for this year’s event is “Explore Odisha,” The famous Bali Jatra fair inspires the format, one of India’s biggest open-air fairs. The aim is to showcase the different sectors of Odisha that the state promotes today.
The community is grateful and proud of the hard work put in by various teams and dedicated volunteers in the finance, strategy, operations, cultural, sales, and marketing groups to ensure the success of this event.
